Violet

Welcome to the February 2023 full length tutorial!  This month we are painting violets, which is the birth flower for February.

Mindset TIP: If you are a beginner cut yourself some slack, and feel free to simplify your painting. In this case you can omit the reserved white areas closer to the center of the violets. Just paint each petal violet without having to worry about the extra step. If you are still getting comfortable with watercolors try and look at a painting and see what step you can leave out to make things easier for yourself. Painting should be fun, not stressful!
